Denver, CO (January 19, 2018)
For 22 consecutive quarters, ANB Bank is proud to receive the Blue Ribbon Bank award for the third quarter of 2017, for our strength and security. This Blue Ribbon Bank Award is the highest rating from Veribanc, Inc., an independent, national bank rating firm awards financial institutions. Veribanc qualified ANB as a Blue Ribbon Bank using an eight-level rating system, plus the bank satisfying additional safety-related criteria. The Award is reserved for those highly rated financial institutions that demonstrate extraordinary attention to safety, soundness, and financial strength, and is the oldest national accolade presented to banks by private sector analysts.
The Bank is also proud to be recognized as a 5-Star Superior Rated Bank from BauerFinancial, another bank rating firm that has been reporting on and analyzing the performance of U.S. banks and credit unions since 1983. BauerFinancial rates all banks and credit unions on a zero-to-five-star scale, with five stars being the strongest. A 5-Star rating is BauerFinancial’s highest rating and indicates that the institution is financially sound and is operating well above its regulatory capital requirements.
“We are pleased to continually be recognized by outside financial analysts for our strong financial condition,” says Koger Propst, President, and CEO of ANB Bank and Sturm Financial Group. “As an independent community bank, receiving these designations reinforce the commitment we make every day to our customers, shareholders and the communities we serve to maintain our financial strength.”
