ANB Bank is proud to announce the induction of Don Sturm, Chairman of ANB Bank, to the Colorado Business Hall of Fame on May 3rd  in a ceremony hosted by Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. He was nominated for his business acumen and community involvement.

During his acceptance speech, directed mainly to the younger people in the audience, Don said, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity,” quoting Roman philosopher Seneca.

Originally from New York, Donald L. Sturm and his family currently own ANB Bank with branches in Colorado and Wyoming, as well as numerous real estate assets in Colorado.

Mr. Sturm worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a trial attorney for four years before joining Peter Kiewit Sons’ Inc. as tax counsel in 1963. ANB Bank has financial strength embodied in over $3.3 billion in assets, and is a true community bank with an unwavering commitment to excellence.
