Denver, CO (August 14, 2017)

ANB Bank’s first phase of their $20-25 million investment in the Cherry Creek community is almost complete with their redevelopment project of the main bank at 3033 E. First Avenue. The remodeled ANB Bank Building now features an updated exterior façade of silver and titanium metal panels and insulated low E glass panels to significantly improve the building’s overall energy performance. The interior of the bank has been completely redefined and remodeled to improve the customers’ banking experience. The bank stayed open providing full-service banking during the entire construction project, which was a challenge for the GE Johnson construction team as well as customers, but tolerance has prevailed. Newly redesigned site work around the building has been enhanced with new landscaping, in addition to reconfigured sidewalk access, new site pedestrian and drive access brick pavers. The bank is also adding new ground level retail space, bringing more commerce to the community.

The remaining part of the ANB Bank project is the completion of their parking structure and retail space, directly north of the ANB Bank building. The parking structure’s exterior façade will be updated with new materials which complement the bank building. There will be additional parking stalls added to the garage as part of the project. A new addition to the structure will be street-level retail space along Milwaukee and St. Paul Streets. The project also consists of removal of the split-level retail section along Second Avenue, replacing it with one street-level row of storefront.

Matt Baldner, Regional Bank President, said, “ANB Bank and its 64-year history serving the Cherry Creek community remains as committed as ever with this major redevelopment investment. Not only does the remodel make our building distinctive and modern-looking, the improvements we’ve made in the interior bank space help serve our customers even better. We are excited to be part of the construction and redevelopment boom in Cherry Creek North, helping create a high quality work environment, plus complement its urban living area”.

Across the ANB footprint, the bank has 30 banking centers serving customers in Colorado, Wyoming, and the Kansas City, Kansas metro area. Its parent company, Sturm Financial Group, Inc. is headquartered in Denver Colorado and has financial strength embodied in over $2.5 billion in assets. ANB Bank ranks in the top 6% of banks nationwide by size and is a true community bank with an unwavering commitment to excellence. The bank helps each of its communities prosper through investment, sponsorship, philanthropy, and employee volunteerism. It is a passion ANB has for banking that makes the difference.
