For over 20 consecutive quarters, ANB Bank is proud to receive again a Blue Ribbon Bank award for the first quarter, 2017 financial data obtained from the Federal Reserve Bank’s Call Report. This Blue Ribbon rating is the highest rating Veribanc, Inc., an independent, national bank rating firm awards financial institutions. Veribanc qualified ANB as a Blue Ribbon Bank using an eight level rating system, plus the bank satisfying additional safety-related criteria.

To be awarded the Blue Ribbon Bank status, a bank must receive Veribanc’s highest Green, Three Star rating, which includes all six factors that the Federal regulators utilize in determining the government’s “CAMELS” ratings – Capital strength, Asset quality, Management, Earnings, Liquidity, and Sensitivity to market risk. In addition, the bank satisfied the firm’s further safety-related criteria.

The Blue Ribbon Bank Award is reserved for those highly rated financial institutions that demonstrate extraordinary attention to safety, soundness, and financial strength, and is the oldest national accolade presented to banks by private sector analysts.
