In November 2008 we will upgrade our BankAtEase™ Internet Banking
system to allow users to request and receive, via e-mail, a temporary password through
the BankAtEase™ system, without calling our support line. To
take advantage of this feature, three conditions must first be met:
-
the user must be able to receive e-mail at the e-mail address we have on record,
-
the user must know their log-in ID,
- and the user must know the answers to their challenge questions.
Please plan ahead for using our automatic password reset feature by knowing your
log-in and challenge questions, and making certain we have a valid e-mail address,
as explained below.
To see the e-mail address you have on record with us:
After logging in, select "Other Services", then the "Change Address" icon. If the
e-mail address we have is correct, simply click on "Balance", or any other icon,
to leave this page. To change your e-mail address, type in the correct address,
then UNCHECK the "Update your account information..." box and select
"Submit". Remember, we have no way of knowing when you change e-mail addresses,
so unless you have updated this information with us, we may still have your address
from eight years ago, when you first signed up for BankAtEase™.
To see the challenge questions you selected and the answers you supplied:
Enter your log-in ID at our home page. At the following screen (which shows your
image and phrase and asks for your password) select the "Do you want to change your
Image, Phrase or Challenge Questions?" box, then enter your password and select
"Submit". Your image and phrase will be displayed to you again (and you can change
them here, if you like). Select "Continue" to move to the next screen which will
show the challenge questions you chose and answers you supplied when you first implemented
our multi-factor security feature. Each of the three drop down boxes have five questions
in them. Either select questions you like and answers that will never change
or leave them unchanged, then select "Submit".
Your temporary password will be e-mailed to you from an email address ending
with sturmbanks.com. Please make certain any spam filter you use will not block
this domain.
If you do not know your log-in ID, please call us during normal hours of operation
(Monday through Friday from 7AM-6PM MT) at 877-416-5965 option 1.
